Mobile passengergate operations

In addition to our SmartPort software at passenger gates, Weasel Software has developed a portable mobile scanner application, currently used in two terminals in Port of Stockholm. This scanner is designed to address peak-time challenges and special situations at passenger gates. This handheld tool provides the port staff with increased flexibility, ensuring smooth operations even during disruptions.

Streamlined problem-solving and passenger management

The mobile scanner is used to validate tickets, handle boarding exceptions, and unboard tickets if a passenger must exit the boarding area before embarking. This ensures accurate passenger lists for shipping companies. The scanner is also a reliable backup during possible gate hardware malfunctions, ensuring uninterrupted service if, for example, a gate mechanics are jammed.
